Companies are increasingly being measured by the way they pursue the goals of sustainable development. The integration of economic, ecological and social aspects in production and business processes is gaining significance and becoming increasingly important for HUESKER, its customers and suppliers. It is behind this background that a need for the sustainability report arose in which HUESKER could present the sustainability of its operating principles.

The HUESKER sustainability report has been drawn up on the basis of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines. The GRI is a globally active, independent, multi-stakeholder initiative which develops, promotes and distributes reports on the sustainable development of a company. As an official cooperation partner of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and through cooperation with the United Nations Global Compact, the GRI Guidelines are therefore internationally recognised. The Guidelines aim to standardise reporting on the economic, ecological and social performance of each reporting party.
