(Kopie 2)
These knitted fabrics are generally made from high-tensile synthetics such as polyester, polyamide, aramide and polyethylene. Open fabric structures are coated and stabilized with polymer. The raw material used is usually multi- or monofilament yarn.
These knitted fabrics are notable in particular for their high strength, extension capacity (where required by the design) and good dimensional stability.
Typical applications:
- Backing fabric for downstream processors
- Hinge mesh / hinge fabric / airbag hinges / restraining straps for airbag covers
- Flow promoter for resin injection
- Tennis nets
- etc.
