Progress by tradition

(Kopie 3)

HUESKER was first formed as H. & J. Huesker & Co. in December 1861 in Gescher, northern Germany.

Production of cotton fabrics began in 1863 in the newly built factory. The following years saw rapid growth of the young company and by 1867 production was taking place on 200 looms.

In 1958 the company recognized the huge potential of synthetic fabrics and began production using high-strength chemical fibers.

Continued expansion of the product range led to the founding of HUESKER Synthetic in 1973.
