The properties of the nonwovens can be refined to suit your particular use. This begins with the selection of the raw material. We use an extensive range of synthetic staple fibers, which are mechanically bonded by needle punching. For tunnel construction, a special fiber mixture is used in order to make a low-flammability nonwoven.

We manufacture HaTe® nonwovens in geotextile robustness classes 1-5 to suit the application.

HaTe® reinforcement nonwovens are manufactured specially for use in landfill sites for protecting the thermoplastic liner. The composite is formed from a mechanically bonded, high-density nonwoven reinforced with a layer of woven grid. Reinforcement nonwovens are manufactured in weights of between 1000 g/m2 and 3000 g/m2.

HaTe® nonwovens and structured mats perform other functions in landfill, including drainage, gas removal and separation.

HaTe® nonwovens are manufactured and designed in various lengths and widths as required for the site.

Typical applications:

  • Earthworks and foundations
  • Transportation infrastructure
  • Tunnels
  • Hydraulic engineering
  • Landfill
  • Rehabilitation of waste ground
  • Pipelines

HaTe® is a registered trademark of HUESKER Synthetic GmbH.
