Technical features/Functional principles
The movements of the two HaTe® woven tarpaulins arranged one above the other are driven by one fixed and one movable drive motor (electric shaft drive. The two woven tarpaulins are connected by a centrally rolled aluminium grooved tube (2 grooves). The rotation of the central aluminium tube is produced by the movable electric shaft drive. A particular point to note is that this electric shaft drive runs in a pair of vertical rails and can move up and down if required.
The mini-telescopic articulating coupling between the electric shaft drive and the grooved tube transfers the torque and ensures the movement is smooth and even by accommodating the variations in distance and alignment during the winding process.
Wind loads on the HaTe® woven tarpaulin are carried by stretched HaTe® protection mesh.

The HaTe® woven tarpaulin(s) are prevented from deviating out of alignment by rectangular aluminium profiles (max. every 2.50 m).

By a suitable combination of movements of the two electric shaft drives, the HaTe® woven tarpaulins can have six basic settings, as shown below:

The two HaTe® woven tarpaulins are fully unrolled - the eaves side is virtually closed, if necessary only providing the minimum ventilation.
The movable drive motor is at mid-height in the vertical rails.
Setting 2
Setting 2
The two HaTe® woven tarpaulins are approx. 50 % rolled out; the movable motor has moved towards the bottom.
Setting 3

The movable motor moves towards the top; with the two HaTe® woven tarpaulins being approx. 50 % rolled out.
Setting 4

The movable drive motor remains in its mid-height position and winds in the two HaTe® woven tarpaulins until they are 50 % rolled out.

The movable drive motor is in its top position. Both HaTe® woven tarpaulins are fully rolled in.
Setting 6

The movable drive motor moves to its bottom setting. Both HaTe® woven tarpaulins are completely rolled in.
