If a riding area does not have a separation layer, there is nothing to prevent the riding surface material mixing with the lower structural layer (base). To prevent this mixing of materials, an Original-VIATRIFT® textile separation layer is incorporated between the base and riding surface layers, thus allowing the riding arena to be used all year round. Puddles are a thing of the past.

The prospective riding arena owner can choose between two different versions of Original-VIATRIFT® separation layer. The choice depends on the base material and the anticipated loading of the riding arena.

5 m widths of fabric are sewn together in the HUESKER factory sewing shop into the shape of the riding arena (but approximately 2 meters larger in length and width to allow the separation layer to be anchored in place).
